Tuesday was a rough day for Boeing.
A 6-hour long test flight was cut short after smoke began to fill the rear of the plane. The same day, the company lost eight orders for the 787 Dreamliner jet.
Already two years behind schedule, Boeing estimates that the first delivery of the 787 Dreamliner won’t take place until mid-first quarter 2011. The recipient is of the first jet will be Japan’s All Nippon Airways.
