Local authorities are investigating the death of a paraplegic man who apparently fell out of his electric wheelchair and into the Charleston Harbor yesterday afternoon.

The incident occurred on a deck behind a house on Paul Revere Court on James Island. The Post and Courier reports that there was no indication of foul play, but are waiting on the autopsy to help determine if cause of death came before or after the fall.
