Profiling Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy and its 20 years of service

The Post and Courier has a lovely profile on Reverend Rob Dewey, founder and senior chaplain of the Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy.

In 1991, Dewey launched the nonprofit organization that responds to incidents that range from homicides to hurricanes offering comfort and aid to not only victims and the families of victims, but police, EMS and fire personnel who also deal with tragedies on a daily basis.

What began as one man's mission has snowballed into a team of about 30 lay volunteers and a 15-member board of directors. Dewey has even helped establish similar chaplaincies around the country.

Hop over to The Post and Courier for more on Dewey and the Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy.
