Watch for road flooding tonight
There's a coastal flood advisory from 7 to 11 this evening for Isle of Palms, Sullivans Island, Downtown, Folly Beach, and surrounding locations.
The flooding is not expected due to rain, but from a combination of astronomical factors and an onshore flow which will push high tide up to 7.3 feet. High tide is expected at 9:11 PM at Charleston Harbor.
Use caution while driving and don't drive through water where you can't see the road. It can take less than a foot of water to stall a car.
