The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 7 p.m. today, cautioning drivers to be extra careful while driving on bridges.

This hazardous weather outlook is for the entirety of Southeast South Carolina. Westerly winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts to 40 miles per hour can be expected. The strong winds will make driving more difficult today, especially on elevated bridges.

Be smart, drive safe, and don't rush on your commute home this evening.
