Fall is hunting season, and while some like to get up at the butt crack of dawn to sit in a tree stand to shoot Bambi's mother, others find themselves a innocent victims of a deer drive-by that results in a wrecked car, and injured (or worse) deer, and insurance claims to work through.

The deer are out in huge numbers, this time of year.  They're looking for love - sometimes in all the wrong places like on the sides of highways and roads during the more inopportune times. The Sun News has a great little piece on the rise of car accidents involving the little white tail animals and how to lessen your chance of colliding with one.
