Midlands schools get serious: No cheering at graduation (updated)

Image by Flickr user fotobydaveImage by 20090515-grad.jpg It doesn't look like these graduates have a cheering problem.

Update June 9:

According to The Hearld of Rock Hill, no high school graduates were arrested during this year's ceremonies.

Weak ... Just kidding.

First reporting:

According to the school district of Rock Hill, graduating from high school is nothing to cheer about.

Officials at several South Carolina high schools hope to avoid a repeat of last year's graduation ceremonies, where eight people were arrested for cheering. Charges were dropped against the eight people after they agreed to write letters of apology.
