Sitting at the North Myrtle Beach Starbucks I noticed a flyer for "Yoga by Donation." Examining the flyer further I saw that it was for a great charitable cause.

Yoga DiVita has several scheduled classes that they hold in North Myrtle Beach at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center but, their Thursday class that starts at 6:45pm is a by donation class that has all proceeds going towards sponsoring Yoga DiVita student and friend, Beth Dewitt for the "3 Day 60 Mile" Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer walk

The "Yogi" as Dawn DiVita, owner of Yoga DiVita tells us that Dewitt is looking to raise $2,500 for the Atlanta, GA 3 Day 60 Mile walk that will be held on October 21 - 23, 2011. Dewitt was finding it difficult to meet her goal and that is where DiVita stepped in to offer up her services. Inspired by Dewitt, Yoga DiVita will be doing this charitable donation class long after Dewitt's cause. Branching out to other Yogi's in her class that may have charitable organizations they wish to represent. Further, DiVita will also be raising funds for locals in need this holiday season.

Yoga DiVita does sugest a $5 minimum donation for this special Thursday class. If you would like more information, including class schedules and pricing click your way over to Yoga DiVita's website and make sure to 'like' them on Facebook
