Locals are a bit jaded when it comes to hurricanes.

It does look like Irene could be the first close call we're going to have for this season. We've been through enough warnings and evacuations to know when the real deal is about to throw down or the media is turning into a bunch of Henny Penny's on a slow news day. After all, current projections have Irene knocking on our door several days from now.
