After pondering how the recent ruling over the Isle of Palms smoking ban, Greg Hambrick over at the Charleston City Paper suggests that while the state's Republican could and would ban local smoking bans, they likely won't as it's not the Republican way to go meddling in what local municipalities should or shouldn't do.
