Update, June 29, 2:30 p.m.: The veto has been struck down.

Update, June 29: It's a big week for South Carolina's film industry. 

At some point in the next two days the S.C. Senate will decide if they will override Sanford's veto of tax incentives to the movie industry.

First reporting: A good piece by Tim Smith over at The Greenville News about the debate (and some facts) surrounding whether or not South Carolina should chop off millions in film incentives that are largely responsible for attracting shows like "Army Wives."

Seems to me like there's two questions here: Are the film incentives worth it? And: Even if they're not quite worth it, is the "feel good" factor of having stuff filmed here akin to investing in highway litter cleanup?
