Charleston expanding it 'smart' parking meter program

Never overfeed the meter again and never go digging for quarters again. So hails the logic behind the SmartCard parking meter program.
And to encourage more adoption of the debit-card like program, the City of Charleston is upgrading its 450 remaining old-fashioned meters and looking to make the purchase of the cards easier.
