Idea would better environment, save costs at marina, but put hurt on Charleston Yacht Club

Rather than constantly dredging, the City Marina Co. on the Ashley River wants to add more wet slips for boats. It's better for the company's pocket book and better for the environment.

The idea is pretty smart and well received until folks realize that the Charleston Yacht Club can no longer piggyback on the dredging services.
