Two environmental groups fighting for rivers

American Rivers and the Coastal Conservation League are challenging the Department of Health and Environmental Control's permit given to Duke Energy allowing the construction of dams on the Catawba and Wateree rivers.
The groups are concerned about the protection of an endangered species of fish.
