Alzheimer's bill still waiting for approval

One of 66 bills awaiting a signature from Gov. Mark Sanford is one that would allow researchers to move ahead with studies aimed at helping South Carolina's nearly 80,000 residents living Alzheimer's disease.

The passing of the bill would allow researchers to contact families of Alzheimer's patients, a move that would garner a further understanding of the disease.
