City hosting open meetings to discuss future visions for Charleston (updated)

Over the next two weeks, the city of Charleston will be holding five meetings, open to the public, to discuss the plans and visions for the Charleston area for next 10 years.

The Department of Planning, Preservation and Sustainability will be hosting the meetings and offering attendees one-on-one time to speak with planners on the proposed updates.

Update September 29:

The round of public meetings are to discuss elements to be included in the City's update to its 2000 Century V City Plan.
