No one's heading up the TSA, and DeMint's on the hook

An effort by our Senator Jim DeMint to block the nominee to head the TSA appears to be backfiring after an attempt was made to blow up an international flight bound for Detroit.

DeMint has been slowing things down for fear that the new leader may allow TSA workers to unionize.

Several stories are out there on this one, but I'll recommend this on at the Los Angeles Times.
