Saturday, January 14th Congressman Tim Scott held one of his First in the South Town Halls at Broadway at the Beach. 

While there were no Republican presidential candidates on hand the event was co-hosted by Virgina Governor Bob McDonnell, a name being tossed around as a potential Republican Vice Presidential nominee. The Town Hall was emceed by Fox News pollster and political consultant Frank Luntz. 

Around 100 voters were in attendance, both sitting in and gathering around a large tent that was erected at Celebrity Square. After the scheduled 75 minute town hall, attendees as well as passersby were treated to a concert presented by the AARP and featuring the Fantastic Shakers.
