Update 6/29: Apparently the scheduling confusion wasn't too big of a problem.

According to WPDE, almost 600 people listened to Bachmann speak and campaign staffers commented that it was a larger crowd than Iowa. Find out what she said in her 20 minute speech. The Sun News has the most complete write-up on the event. Read that here. WMBF also has some quotes from Bachmann. Read those here.

Update 6/28: Due to conflicting information from schedule changes, the times for the Bachmannn visit were not clear yesterday.

According to this WBTW report, at 5:30 p.m. Bachmann will appear at Carlos’ n Charlie’s restaurant for a public presentation and discussion. At 7 p.m.,  there is a private Grand Strand Business Association reception at Ripley’s Aquarium.

First Report: On Tuesday, June 28th, Michele Bachmann will speak outside of Ripley's Aquarium at Broadway at the Beach at 7 p.m.

The Sun News has the story including a brief background on Bachmann. Read it here.

The Myrtle Beach Tea Party had originally planned to hold the event at Carlos & Charlie's but cited a larger than anticipated crowd as the reason to move it outdoors. Based on what we've heard about that particular restaurant, it's probably for the best.
