A South Carolina blogger is facing down the long arm of the legal system, Logan Smith of the Palmetto Public Record is being sued by The Sikh Religious Society of South Carolina for libel. 

On March 29, 2012, the Palmetto Public Record claimed that Sikh temple, which happens to be run by South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley's father Ajit S. Randhawa, was going to be indicted on charges of tax fraud; an indictment that has yet to happen.
