Atlantic Stage is excited to be producing its first world premiere by award-winning local playwright, and company member, Kevin D. Ferguson. The production will be directed by Thom Penn, Atlantic Stage’s Producing Artistic Director. Rehearsals will begin on Tuesday, April 2nd and the play will open on Friday, April 26th.
Auditions will take place Saturday, March 9th (9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 1:30-5 p.m.) – please bring one prepared monologue from 1-2 minutes in length and be prepared to read from the script.
We are seeking male and female non-union actors. The roles are as follows:
VERA HEIGL (30s-40s) – a child therapist
ROGER (40s-50s) – VERA’s colleague
CINDY STILLMAN (10) – VERA’s client
JULIA STILLMAN (30s-40s) – CINDY’s mother
PETER STILLMAN (30s-40s) – CINDY’s step-father
DRAGON – a miniature toy
KING – a miniature toy
QUEEN – a miniature toy
PRINCESS – a miniature toy
NINJA GIRL – a miniature toy
This will be an exciting opportunity to put our ensemble’s stamp on the development of this new piece as it moves toward publication and future productions elsewhere. We’d love for you to be a part of that exhilarating creative process with us. Come play!
