A One Day Retreat, INTRO TO WELLNESS-U, is the chance to spend a day of fun and learning about a variety of subjects relative to complete health and wellness.

The Intro to Wellness U Retreat is an all encompassing day filled with presentations and activities geared towards learning and fun with experts in their field. Dr. Dalal Akoury, MD and the staff at AWAREMed are offering the public an opportunity to spend the day at the AWAREMed facility and learn about what to expect as a potential patient or participant in future, more condition focused retreats. The atmosphere and the experience will be relaxed with concentration on spirit, mind and body activities, sponsors and short presentations.
Each individual is in a different stage of health and wellness, but the best place to start improving life is right where you are, whether you are wanting to learn more about fitness and nutrition, or whether you are considering treatment for a specific disease or condition. Each component of the retreat is designed to be all inclusive, no matter what your size, shape, or condition may be, you will be comfortable and respected. Important components to good health are activities that are fun, creating not only a way for the body to become more fit, increasing endorphins, but also creating laughter. As the old adage says, “laughter is the best medicine,” and it’s true!
Presentations and activities are planned around general health topics and fun filled exercise, yoga, cooking, juicing and much more. FREE gifts and sponsor information are available for each attendee. AWAREmed Health & Wellness Resource Center, and Dr. Dalal Akoury, MD, are in the forefront of a proactive movement that is committed to making a difference in the lives of participants.
