About SC Jaycee Camp Hope:
Jaycee Camp Hope is a statewide residential camp for children and adults with developmental disabilities sponsored by the Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees).  The camp offers individuals and families unique and entertaining opportunities near beautiful Lake Hartwell in Clemson, SC.  Jaycee Camp Hope also serves families by giving parents and caregivers a rest while their camper is at camp.

Campers develop independence through daily camp programs such as canoeing, crafts, overnight camping, archery, swimming and other activities.  Jaycee Camp Hope is the number one project of the SC Jaycees.  By raising support for Camp Hope, Jaycees are giving individuals in their communities the opportunity to go to camp.

The SC Jaycees have provided financial support for every camper attending Jaycee Camp Hope since 1969.  To date, the SC Jaycees have raised over $950,000 and supported more than 10,000 individuals.  The SC Jaycees were also instrumental in establishing the Outdoor Lab as a permanent home for Jaycee Camp Hope since 1975.

The Charleston Jaycees, or Junior Chamber of Commerce, is a non-profit organization that has offered leadership training through community service in the Charleston area for over 20 years. The Charleston Jaycees give adults, between the ages of 21 and 39, the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service and international connections.  With the focus on volunteerism, the Jaycees are enlarging areas of opportunity for adults who want to not only improve themselves but also enrich the lives of others.  Since 1988, our chapter has donated its time and money to such charities as Relay For Life, Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, SC Jaycee Camp Hope and many others.
