Chamber Launches New Online Resource

The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce has launched a completely revamped website, www.charlestonchamber.net, as a new online business resource for its members and the community. The new site offers a wealth of information and many new functions.

The Chamber’s website serves as a resource for important economic and community data including economic profile, demographics, major employers, cost of living and more. In addition, it will highlight areas of interest for members including what’s going on with advocacy efforts, quality of life issues, military relations, education and workforce, and young professionals. Users are also able to subscribe to RSS feeds to get updates as they occur.

New features coming soon include a live chat module allowing website visitors to talk real time to a Chamber representative as well as video-on-demand for catching up on programs members may have missed.

“The Chamber website serves as a total business resource tool, whether you are looking for small business information or a company looking to relocate or expand,” said Bryan Derreberry, Charleston Metro Chamber president and CEO. “The new website was designed and will be continually updated to provide the business owner and/or principle with relevant and timely information to run her or his business.”
