The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles will start delivering emergency contact information along with your driving record in a handy form, your driver's license.

Driver's can now include emergency contact information within their personal driving record. Police, EMT and other emergency personnel will then have direct access to points of contact in case anything was to happen.

This program can be directly accessed and contacts added from their online fourm. If you would like to sign up for this simply go over to the website and fill out the form!

Jean Smolen over at Alternatives News has a write-up on the program.
