The store is hosting a Charity Gift Wrapping Event throughout December where all proceeds will benefit local charities
Stop by Affordables Apparel in the South Windermere Shopping Center (82 Folly Road in Charleston, SC) for the Charity Gift Wrapping Event from 12 to 7 pm each Friday and Saturday leading up to Christmas to benefit four local charities. Customers may get any gifts wrapped at the store, no Affordables Apparel purchase necessary, where all proceeds will benefit a different charity each weekend. The store featured Florence Crittenton from Friday, November 30 to Saturday, December 1 and will feature Darkness to Light from Friday, December 7 to Saturday, December 8; My Sister’s House Friday from December 14 to Saturday, December 15; and Pet Helpers from Friday, December 21 to Saturday, December 22. Volunteers from each charity will conduct the gift wrapping. To celebrate Second Sunday on King Street, the store will bring the Charity Gift Wrapping Event to its downtown location at 305 King Street on December 9 from 1 to 5 pm to benefit Darkness to Light.
Any items purchased at Affordables Apparel will receive complimentary gift wrapping and outside store items will be wrapped where the proceeds will benefit the featured charity of the weekend. Small boxes are $5.00, medium boxes are $8.00 and large boxes are $10.00. Customers may choose from a wide arrangement of wrapping paper, tissue paper, ribbons and bows.
