Glass Onion Signs Cookbook at Siematic

Sarah O’Kelley, co-owner of the Glass Onion restaurant, will be signing their debut cookbook, Glass Onion Classics, at the SieMatic kitchen showroom, 444 King Street, on Thursday, October 13, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

The Glass Onion is pleased to team up with Siematic and Heirloom Book Company to showcase their recently published cookbook, which shares some of the West Ashley restaurant’s staple recipes like Jennie Ruth’s Deviled Eggs and Mustard Fried Catfish.  O’Kelley authored the book with the support of her business partner Chris Stewart and their co-founding partner Charles Vincent. In addition to recipes, O’Kelley shares profiles of local farmers and fishermen that have proved influential in the Glass Onion’s success.

SieMatic will provide the perfect backdrop for the book signing and will offer bubbly to accompany light hors d’oeuvres from the Glass Onion (specifically their renowned pimento cheese.) Heirloom Book Company will be on hand to facilitate sales of Glass Onion Classics and to inform those interested about their next event with the Glass Onion – an in-store dinner on Sunday, October 16.

More details about both events can be found at www.ilovetheglassonion.com or by calling the Glass Onion at (843) 225-1717.
