Hurricane Party Celebrates ECCO’s Good Works in the Community with Annual Fundraiser, The Boeing Company Named Platinum Sponsor

Get in the spirit of giving with this year’s East Cooper Community Outreach (ECCO) Hurricane Party on Friday, Sept. 23 at the Omar Shrine Temple from 7 to 11 p.m.

The annual ECCO fundraiser celebrates the origins of the organization’s founding following Hurricane Hugo in 1989, as well as its continued ministry of “Helping Neighbors Help Themselves.”  All funds raised will help ECCO continue to provide emergency assistance for clothing, household furnishings, financial needs and food, as well as medical, dental and prescription drug assistance, to residents in the Cooper River, Santee Basin and tri-county area (Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties.)  ECCO’s programs and services are aimed at teaching self sufficiency to its clients and improving their quality of life.

Also, The Boeing Company has partnered with ECCO as its Platinum Sponsor for this year’s annual event and additional sponsorship opportunities are still available, including:
