The Art Institute of Charleston is holding a doll-themed fashion show tonight featuring the likes of local favorites Julie Wheat of Cavortress and Megan Waldrep MEW Designs.  Hosted by the Art Institute's Fashion Club MODE, there will also be designs by Mamie Ruth and other local designers.

Wheat will be showcasing her "Barbie" themed designs, MEW will be focused on "voo-doo" dolls.  Closing out the show will be "Paper Doll" themed, designed by Art Institute Students.

A $5 donation to MODE is all you need to come see the hottest local designs of the summer.  The show starts at 7:30 p.m., and is located at 41 Anson St.  Check out the lovely bit the Business Journal did on the show for more info.
