Lowcountry AIDS Services presents the 2011 Dining with Friends Weekend

Join us as we celebrate our 19th year of Dining with Friends! We hope you will mark your calendar to host a party in support of this very important fundraising event, which will take place over the weekend of April 15-17, 2011.  We have extended the event over three days to give you an opportunity to welcome your friends for brunch, dinner or a cocktail party, in exchange for a donation to support Lowcountry AIDS Services. We would be delighted if you would take part in this Lowcountry tradition, and join in the festivities!

Since its conception 20 years ago, LAS has assisted over 3,200 individuals living with HIV/AIDS and their families. Last year, your contribution directly supported much needed services for the increasing number of people affected by the HIV disease in the Tri-county area.

This disease impacts our entire community, and because it does, we know that interest in raising funds for this cause goes far beyond the private sector. If you think your church, company, or organization would be interested in hosting a party or function in association with Dining with Friends, now is the time to get them involved! We’re anticipating this year’s event will be one of our best and biggest ever, and will celebrate the event’s success, and the generosity of our honored host. In lieu of our dessert finale this year we will have a cocktail reception on Wednesday, April 20th to express our great appreciation to all that have hosted.

One of the special things about Dining with Friends is the diversity of people who choose to take part. It’s exciting to see so many people who otherwise might not cross paths come together for this special event in support of a common cause. So we hope you will join us again for Dining with Friends in 2011.

To register a party, please call Chris Podmore at  (747-2273) or e-mail at cpodmore@aids-services.com to add your name to our honored list of hosts.

You’ll never have a better excuse to throw a party, and what a fun way to make a difference and help your community!
