Robert Ivey Ballet Presents Hunchback of Notre Dame

Robert Ivey Ballet premieres their full-length classical ballet based on Victor Hugo's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame," set in Gothic Paris, France featuring a kind-hearted gypsy, Esmeralda, who is framed for murder, runs afoul of the corrupt and powerful Archbishop, and only the deformed bell ringer of Notre Dame Cathedral can save her.

Original choreography by Michael and Olga Wise.  Music by Phillip Feeney.

This tale of Love, Betrayal, and Dispair is danced on the stage at the Sottile Theater (44 George Street, downtown) on Friday, October 19th and Saturday, October 20th at 8pm.   Tickets are through Brown Paper Tickets. $15 and $25.
