Q: Where are you from?
A: Originally I’m from Tucson, Arizona and I have been living in Charleston for the past 7 years.
Q: What is your favorite Charleston hotspot?
A: My favorite spots include Basil and Chai’s.
Q: What do you do when you are not preparing for CFW?
A: I am a high school student studying to prepare to major in biology in college.
Q: How many Charleston Fashion Week events have you modeled in?
A: Charleston Fashion Week 2009 was my first event that I modeled in. It was so amazing and I had the time of my life. I am so excited that I get to relive those moments again!
Q: What was your favorite CFW experience or moment in 2009?
A: My favorite CFW moment in 2009 was at the final gala when Marysia Reeves was announced the winner of the emerging designer competition. Marysia is very talented and her collections are beautiful!
Q: What are you looking forward to most for CFW 2010?
A: I am looking forward to seeing how everything is going to look! Last year's setup and runway was amazing and I’m sure this year will outdo last year! AND of course I am looking forward to walking the runway!!
Q: Which shows/designers are you modeling for?
A: Larika Page, Gwynn’s, Biton, Monkee’s, Sucker Jeans, Seeking Indigo, House of Sage, LaRoque, and Bella Vista Bridal
Q: Outside of rehearsals, how do you prepare for CFW 2010?
A: I like to prepare for shows by watching high fashion runway shows on YouTube such as Valentino and Chanel. I also practice walking around my house and use a mirror for facial expressions. (Go Tyra!)
Q: What would be your advice for aspiring models for CFW 2011?
A: Confidence! Just be yourself and believe in what you do! I always try my hardest and never give up.
Q: Who/what is your inspiration for your personal wardrobe?
A: My mom is one of my biggest fashion icons –she has GREAT style! I also really adore Tory Burch and I am a classic Ralph Lauren girl.
Q: What is your favorite fashion trend for summer 2010?
A: My favorite trend for the summer is the boyfriend blazer! SO cute with a pair of shorts or torn jeans! (Like!)
Q: What music are you listening to when getting exciting about CFW 2010?
A: I LOVE music and my favorite artist right now is Kid Cudi but I also enjoy Passion Pit, Timbaland, Lady GaGa, MGMT, and Muse.
Q: What is your favorite fashion outfit or accessory that you are rockin’ right now?
A: My favorite item right now is my True Religion black legging/jeans! They’re just so comfortable and durable and go great with anything!
