Update September 1, 4 p.m.: FITSNews is saying that Maguire could be the illustrious "Bridget Keeney."

And who is that? As FITSNews puts it, "The prolific author of hardcore erotic fiction on the Internet."

Hop on over to the site to see what's up and read a couple of samples.

First reporting:

The State Board of Education chairwoman Kristin Maguire has unexpectedly resigned.

Maguire has a very interesting career that follows her out of the position. She home-schools her four children, co-founded a group that encourages abstinence-only education and the teaching of intelligent design in schools, and is the nation's only home-schooler to head a public school state board.

The State has the story on Maguire's swift exit.
