The Special KId Sponsor Program works in Horry, Georgetown, and surrounding counties to improve the quality of life of special kids. 

A Special kid is a child currently enrolled in the states foster care system with disabilities such as emotional, developmental, behavioral, and or physical that prevents them from functioning in daily activities like a normal child would. Currently there are over 300 children enrolled in local foster care with these disabilities. 

The program needs any volunteers that are willing to spend time with these children and guide them in the right direction. Program is also accepting donations, please be advised that all donations are tax deductible. Other information may be found www.specialkidsponsorprogram.com
