The struggle to save homes on the fringe

Charleston is a city that takes great pride in preservation of architecture and landmarks, but several homes that lay on the fringe of historic neighbors are currently at risk of demolition.

The Preservation Society of Charleston is doing all they can to protect such homes on Spring Street and Washington Street, but still, without some imminent help, nature may grant what the city will not.
