Image by Charleston Battery The Battery faced an EPL side for the first time Saturday night at Blackbaud Stadium.

They lost 2-0 before 5,249 fans at their Daniel Island stadium.

Though the Charleston Battery may have lost their soccer match against the Bolton Wanderers, and English Premier League team in the U.S. for a three-game tour, it sounds like it was pretty solid game.
