Battery head north for a pair of weekend road matches (update: little love, one loss, one tie)

Update June 5: It's proving to be a rough season for the Charleston Battery.

The team tied once and lost one game on its pair of road games this weekend and is now 5-5-3, yet remains tied for third in USL PRO’s American Division.

On Saturday the Battery dropped 0-1 at the Harrisburg City Islanders when the team scored in the 89th minute. On Friday the Battery tied F.C. New York 1-1.

Match preview: The Charleston Battery, hot off of two consecutive home victories, head north this weekend for a pair of road matches.

On Friday night, the Battery will take on F.C. New York at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday, the Harrisburg City Islanders at 7 p.m. Both games are available locally on 1340 AM and via the web at CharlestonBattery.com.

The Battery return home to Blackbaud Stadium on June 17th for a game versus the Dayton Dutch Lions. Tickets are on sale now.
