Battery knocked out of U.S Open Cup by Houston

Major League Soccer’s Houston Dynamo defeated the Charleston Battery 4-0 yesterday, July 7, in the quarterfinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
But the Battery are still 8-2-6 and at the top of the USL First Division standings. They return to league play Saturday, July 11 at 7:30 p.m. against the Carolina RailHawks.
