CCU take home the 2011 Big South women's outdoor track and field title

The 2011 Coastal Carolina women's track and field win the Big South crown with 228 points. Surpassing rival Liberty University by 61.5 points, the CCU women accomplish what few have been able to do this year.

Additional honors go out the CCU women's cross country/track and field coach Alan Connie of Coastal Carolina  who was also awarded with the prestigious Big South's Women's Coach of the Year while Sierrah Oates of Coastal Carolina was selected to the Big South's Women's All-Academic Team.
