Rallying from behind, the Bulldogs defeated Princeton 37-24 before a crowd of 13,120 at Johnson Hagood Stadium on Saturday.

“I was not surprised with Princeton’s success in the first half. This is what we were talking about all week. This is a team that we do not know a lot about," said Citadel Head Coach Kevin Higgins. "We never played them and there was no film on them this year. Their offense is unique and it took our guys some time to make adjustments.”

The Citadel is now 2-1, with their only loss against Clemson.

The Post and Courier has a pretty good write-up on the game, and a photo gallery.

The Citadel plays next Saturday, September 27, at home against Presbyterian College.
