Day of trading shakes up RiverDogs roster

The New York Yankees made a couple trades today, June 30, that will change up the roster of the Charleston RiverDogs.
The New York Yankees announced that RiverDogs right-hander Casey Erickson was traded today to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Despite the loss, the Dogs will gain left-handed pitcher Garrett Patterson after being transferred from Class-A Advanced Tampa.
