Lowcountry Highrollers face off against thier worst opponents yet--themselves

The way that the Lowcountry Highrollers see it, the best way that they can work on their weaknesses is to split up and play against their own teammates.

Lucky for you, you'll have the chance to watch the ladies duke it out at what's sure to be one of the season's most chaotic matches. Sibling Rivalry kicks off on Saturday, July 23rd, at The Citadel's McAlister Field House (171 Moultrie St.). Door open at 4 p.m.; the bout starts at 5 p.m.

But the legendary bout won't be the only reason to come out--you'll also have the chance to swig some beer, enjoy some live music by DJ duo Cassidy & the Kid, and watch in awe as Homespun Hoops entertains. And the fun keeps going at Burns Alley after the victor is announced.

Bout admission costs $10 in advance, $12 at the door. Kids 10 and younger are admitted free of charge. Advance tickets can be purchased from any roller girl, Mama Q's KItchen on Johns Island, East West Health Arts and Hot Wheels on James Island, Tin Roof in West Ashley, City Lights Coffee and the Recovery Room downtown, EVO Pizzeria in North Charleston, or online at www.brownpaperticketts.com/event/184215. A portion of the proceeds will go on to benefit Lowcountry Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (LEAP).
