There is a mutiny rising in Myrtle Beach and it's packing a powerful kick.
The Myrtle Beach Football Club announced that they'll head into 2012 as Myrtle Beach FC... Mutiny! Club President Trym Hogner said "It was important to us to have a name that had something to do with our Grand Strand area. Myrtle Beach has a rich pirate history so Mutiny was fitting. We're also a new club rising up and against our mates in the NPSL with high hopes for a great first season!".
You can check out their new logo above. The MBFC Mutiny plays their home games at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium. You can also keep up with all the action online through their Twitter account, Facebook page, and YouTube Channel.
The MBFC Mutiny will compete in the 2012 NPSL Southeast Division along with:

- Georgia Revolution
- NPSL Champions Jacksonville United

- Knoxville Force
- Chattanooga FC
