RiverDogs end homestand with a win, hit the road for eight away

The Charleston RiverDogs hustled the Kannapolis Intimidators last night, July 20, taking the game from them 6-1.
Strong pitching and Abraham Almonteās three-run homer in the fifth inning propelled the Dogs to the win and advances their record to 14-9 in the second half and 51-43 overall. For more on last night's game, head to The RiverDogs site for the full-write up.
The RiverDogs will be on the road for the next 10 days, taking on both the Greensboro Grasshoppers and the West Virginia Power.
