After two back to back wins at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, the Warriors will be calling the North Strand Recreation Center home. 

Starting December 3rd, all South Carolina Warriors home games will be held at the Little River rec center. The Warriors drew an average of 400 fans for their first two home games, they hoped for numbers in the 2,000 range.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause any of our fans. All of our sponsors and season ticket holders will be contacted personally by the team,” Warriors general manager Tony Bennett said in a prepared statement. 

While this might be a set back for the Warriors, the new venue may be good news for the northern Strand residents and basketball junkies. Terry Massey of the Grand Strand Sports Report has the full story.
