What it will take for the Gamecocks to "go big"

The University of South Carolina football team had the same problem in 2009 that they've been plagued with for years: a tough defense and an inconsistent offense.
The 2009 season was marked with impressive play and some pivotal wins, but they were few and far between. To quote Gamecocks coach Steve Spurrier, "We've never been a great team this year. We've been a decent team."
So what will it take for the Gamecocks to become a great team in 2010? The State reporter Gerry Melendez examines five questions facing the team in the upcoming season.
