Strings and Salsa will return for another rousing show at the Charleston Music Hall. It’s your night to dress up, go out to the Charleston Music Hall, and show off your salsa dance moves! Strings and Salsa blurs the line between performer and audience, combining exciting varieties of dance, traditional salsa music, and a string section that moves seamlessly between classical, Latin, and pop styles. With a vision that combines her two favorite activities (salsa dancing and playing vioiln), local violinist and orchestral arranger, Robbi Kenney, will join forces with an incredible lineup of string players, dancers, singers, and Latin jazz musicians. You will hear traditional Cuban tunes as well as a music by Stevie Wonder, Daft Punk, and Piazzolla. This upcoming show will feature a few new special guests including Robbie Madison on vocals and trumpet.
