Budget cuts: All Clemson workers must take five unpaid days

The state's slashing of higher-education funding has lead Clemson University to require all of its workers to take five days off.

Absolutely crazy that our schools are in this position, take this line from the university's press release:
[Clemson President James F. Barker] said with the latest cuts, Clemson’s educational funding per student, adjusted for inflation, is 40 percent less than it was in 1973.
