'Mystery' manufacturer set to invest $55M in North Charleston

Original post: A local manufacturer being referred to as "Project Bluewater" is set to invest $55 million in North Charleston and create 160 jobs with a payroll of $6.84 million.

The company worked closely with Charleston County to gain tax credits, and had requested confidentiality until the official announcement on Thursday, October 30 in December, it now seems.
