The North Charleston First Citizens Bank & Trust‎ on University Boulevard kicked off Christmas Eve with a bank robbery at 10:30 a.m.

The robber left with handfuls of cash.

Jeffrey Patrick Frye, 44, is a suspect in the robbery and may be driving a stolen red Volkswagen convertible with S.C. license plate number 489-8DC.
